for Preparation Click here

DESCRIPTION

The circuit for the driver side - side collision sensor (to determine deployment of the curtain shield airbag (driver side)) is composed of the center airbag sensor assembly and driver side - side airbag sensor (for rear side).
The driver side - side airbag sensor (for rear side) detect impacts to the vehicle and send signals to the center airbag sensor assembly to determine if the airbag should be deployed.
DTC B1633/81 is recorded when a malfunction is detected in the circuit for the driver side - side collision sensor (to determine deployment of the curtain shield airbag (driver side)).

DTC No.

  1. The center airbag sensor assembly receives a line short circuit signal, an open circuit signal, a short circuit to ground signal or a short circuit to B+ signal in the circuit for the driver side - side collision sensor (to determine deployment of the curtain shield airbag (driver side)) for 2 seconds.
  2. Driver side - side airbag sensor (for front side) malfunction
  3. Driver side - side airbag sensor (for rear side) malfunction
  4. Driver side rear airbag sensor malfunction
  5. Center airbag sensor assembly malfunction
  1. Floor wire
  2. Front door wire (driver side)
  3. Driver side - side airbag sensor (for front side)
  4. Driver side - side airbag sensor (for rear side)
  5. Driver side rear airbag sensor
  6. Center airbag sensor assembly
